Hi gang,
I like the book entitled "Challenging Kids, Challenged Teachers: Teaching Students with Tourette's, Bipolar Disorder, Executive Dysfunction, OCD, ADHD, and More" by Packer & Pruitt (2010), published by Woodbine House. This book has very succinct explanations of each disorder, along with teacher-friendly bulleted recommendations for how to help teachers intervene with them successfully in the classroom.
See the book at Amazon.com

Wow, I've seen this book too and it looks like it would be very helpful.

Another book I've found helpful is by Janet Lerner & Beverley Johns (2012) entitled, Learning Disabilities and Related Mild Disabilities: Teaching Strategies and New Directions. This is published by Wadsworth. It's loaded with practical teaching suggestions and adaptations.

I also like the Challenging Kids book. I recommended it to all my friends who are school clinicians. Very teacher friendly overviews.

Challenging Kids, Challenged Teachers: Teaching Students with Tourette's, Bipolar Disorder, Executive Dysfunction, OCD, ADHD, and More
Great Book? Amazon.ca is selling it for $1,450.00. The pages must be printed in gold.
Of course you can buy the Kindle edition for only $28.08. Perhaps they're trying to discourage the use of paper.
On the other hand, Amazon.com is currently selling the paper edition for $125.00. So, it's definitely cheaper in the US.
